very nearly finished…

A long awaited finished project is blocking finally ,

and attempting in part, to recreate this post of three and a half years ago, in our original house.

The summer of 2017 was a time when All Things Fishy was my focus, entertaining myself to a colossal degree while I researched subjects of “lace , as it related to fishing” . . . all the while whipping out on the needles four lace prototypes for the new pattern.

Two months later all four were burned to ashes in the wildfire. A year later, in summer of 2018, when we were living in the tiny house waiting for our house to be rebuilt, I cast on for this, really wanting to have a Fishwives Lace Shoal to wear. This stole has for some reason taken a really long time to get knit, but can now be posted next in a ” fully finished ” photo , very soon.

    1. I thought it was grey, but its really a grey blue color, really sweet. Abelene has been begging me to let her model something, so that is upcoming 🙂 xx

  1. Regardless of the time it too, it is FINISHED!! I love the photo. I enjoyed going back and reading your earlier post. Your space is so cozy and inviting.

    1. Regina, thank you! The knitting loft/guest room is coming along nicely, I’m very pleased with it, and with far less clutter this time around. xx

        1. Thank you! It seems as if its been a really long difficult time, but I must admit, the worst was over in a year in the wake of the wildfire, living in tiny house while trees toppled all around me from loggers, and all the while my Emma was going through some really old-doggy problems (old-dog vestibulitis!) ~~ I just am so grateful time passes, and we three managed to get back home. xx
