The sun has gone into Libra, and now it is the Autumn equinox. This photo is my equinox tradition for years now, capturing the sinking sun’s rays throwing light up against the rafters, the beams glowing, and yet each year it is a little different. Autumn is my favorite season, a time of transition into cooler days with rain on its way, the fragrance of dampness in the woods, acorns, falling leaves soon, and a relaxation which overtakes me, knowing we have gotten through the worst of summer’s wrath… the equinox marks a happy time ~~ wishing a happy equinox to all!
That photo always brings back all the wonderful birthday memories you’ve made for me….and all the times you’ve made your home a haven for me when my heart needed a little comfort…..Happy Autumnal Equinox, my darling friend.

On the subject of Autumnal possibility — remember our talk the other day in the car cafe? We talked about my redo-ing my blog theme and everything? Well, I’m considering a new theme! Most dynamic themes these days don’t even have sidebars, so I need to ask you; do you think anybody even notices the widgits in the sidebar?
Well, I did! I noticed how you’ve refreshed them. I think it looks great!
I only took off one widgit, and moved a couple down…. but I was thinking about a whole new theme. I’ve been having long drawn-out series of conversations with (brace yourself) WordPress AI assistant, and learning all kinds of things! It says that themes that are photo and writing focused might be a good way to go…. but those themes I’ve seen that are modern and dynamic don’t show sidebars.
The problem is, once I give up this theme, as it is outdated, I would not be able to get it back.
Whew…..lovely! Glad its back.
What an unbelievable hassle. Its like spending a day rearranging furniture, then putting it all back exactly how it was before. Been there, done that a thousand times!
