Sun has gone into Libra, and it is the Autumn equinox. My traditional photo on this same day, in the same hour, for years now , always evokes such rich memories in me. Celebrating with the light and shadow of the beams, as they glow in the rays of the sinking sun of late afternoon, marking such a meaningful time for me, the transition into the cooler months ahead, and rain is imminent! Wishing a happy equinox to all.
Happy Autumnal Equinox my beautiful friend!
We are going to just be like rapturous children when that first rain comes, very soon! xx
Born and raised in northern California, I’m always happiest in the fall. (And I’m a Libra, to boot). Good wishes at the equinox!
Gretchen, I guess it is just one of those unspoken understandings between Northern Californians, how special our Autumn and first rains are. And happy birthday soon! 🙂
I love the photos of your home any time of year but autumn just seems to be its happy time and place in the year. Maybe because you exude those feelings. I have had a tiny peek into the horror that is your dry weather with our trip through the coastal rainforest. The mosses and ferns covering the trees were kinda green but it crumbled to dust if I touched it. That experience was sad and scary so I can feel your joy at getting rain. Here in Pa. we’re soaked from tropical storms roaring up the coast. Enjoy your season of happiness. ❤️V
