More than half way on the first of the pair ~ shown uncuffed, with garter section.
Have been reading a little about kilt hose making, as opposed to regular sock making, striving to make as thick and durable as I can stand knitting. That means a wrestling through the cables a bit, but I’m loving the sturdy fabric ~ sport weight yarn w/ size 1 needles ~ which will make them very long wearing !

These are gorgeous….wow! I was thinking of knitting some sport socks for my husband. I might have to try some now!
Beautiful texture and clarity. I will be knitting a serial of kneehi and hose in the fall. This is very encouraging. Great knit.
