Autumnal Equinox here we come. I can’t believe August is almost done. Then we gotta get through that “anniversary” that we have (evacuation). We really should hunker down and do something profound on that day to dispel its power. What do you think?
Still difficult for me to imagine it being a year already. Yes, too much power given to the event when it was just nature striving for a clean clutter free balance I suppose, so celebrating getting past the year mark of horrible trauma & displacement… something to mark ‘ enough is enough ‘ and lets get on with rebuilding a better life, and be happy for it. Like nature, everything in its place.
Come hunker down with me and we’ll have cold milk and cookies. xo Hehehe

Hello Iris! The burned trees look great in the misty fog, don’t they? Everything is okay, for now no fires threatening us in Napa, and I’m getting lots of knitting done.
