(( This is the flannel check shirt I worked on for nearly four days, for Jeff while he was in Mexico. Try to overlook the ever-so-slightly wrinkliness of it. 🙂 ))

omg, you can sew fantastically too? I’m so jealous 🙂
Pia… the shirt has so many mistakes, it’s gotten to be a laugh. I use to sew constantly in my youth, and I want to get back to that , so that I don’t make so many durned mistakes. (I sewed on the sleeves wrong… left on the right and visa versa ) Thank you !!!
Thank you Carol, but it’s loaded with mistakes. Jeff tried on this mornng and :: gasps :: I managed to switch the sleeves… so now I’ve got to you know.. .rip rip rip… switch them out again, and sew over ! It never ends. Jeff is a good sport, but I am pretty grumpy about it. You’d think wouldn’t be making these mistakes. Goes to show , I am in dire need of sewing more than once per year ! xx
Hello Ali ! Why thank you for showing it off and everything 🙂 It is a Butterick Classics pattern 6289. I just looked up on the patterns for Butterick and it seems to be outdated. I bought this pattern about 18 years ago, and have used the same one ever since !

Lol well, I couldn’t notice any mistakes in the picture, and it’s way better than anything I could ever do, so I’m still impressed 🙂
Ok, well, at least very well-sewn blunders ! 🙂
LOL!
Pretty smart shirt, my friend. Happy Christmas!
I must say, it’s smart enough, but you can’t see all the mistakes I made… lol. Thank you Lizzi !
Its beautiful! Perfect for Christmas as well. He’s going to love it.
Yes, Jen, he does love it. fortunately. He seems to never get tired of the ol’ hand-made Christmas Shirt gift 🙂 xx
