Warm winter wishes! Your shirt is awesome. I made a shirt very much like this for my DH many years ago, so I know how much work went into your exquisite creation.
Hello Morrie !!! Oh , this shirt is indeed one of those ultra tailored jobs, with french seams and all. I pride my shirts to look as good on the inside as the outside. Jeff’s arms are really long, so a custom shirt with long sleeves is a real treat for him…they’re for work you know, and he likes the button’d down collar. I’ve made him this shirt now for 17 years on Christmas ! Seems I’m always making a mistake on it (first time I put on the sleeves backwards, lol) but this year, not a one. Fourth shirt which is black flannel, because in recent years I can’t find decent plaid flannel anywhere, so frustrating ! Maybe your expertise can lead me to good fabrics which are consistant & quality? Hope so. Thanks a lot !! xxJen
Is there no end to your talents Jen? What beautiful tailoring on this shirt. I’m quite envious of the lucky recipient as this is my favourite style of shirt and not always available to buy in the stores here in Northern Ireland. Hope you’re enjoying a lovely peaceful Christmas there on your mountain.
Oh Thank you so much MrCampbellScot ! Maybe we’ll just have to make you your own. Did you know I have a bumper-sticker on my car which reads ” Will Trade Handmade Shirts for Irish Linen ” !! 😉
And Merry Christmas & Hogmanay to you!
Merry Christmas !! Hugs !
Merry Christmas to you too ! 🙂
GREAT job on the shirt. Someone will be very happy. Merry Christmas, Jen. xo
Hey, Merry Christms to you too Debbie ! 🙂
A very fine shirt, beautifully made.
Merry Christmas !
(Written at 9.30pm Christmas night – full of food, wine and goodwill to all). 🙂
The Merriest to you Lizzi !

WOW, nice shirt. Real nice tailoring, nice touches. I can’t believe all you can do! I’m envious. And in awe! Merry Christmas!
Oh thank you Martha ! I’ve sewn this particular shirt about 20 times now, in 17 years, got lots of practice ! 🙂
