February Spring

jenjoycedesign©fruit blossomsSpring has spring in winter’s second month. From hard wood emerges the most delicate of things!

And the meadows are bursting with wild mustard flowers…

Lately even though it’s spring-like here I am in winter mind.

There has emerged a mitten version of Tartan & Tweed Mitts…

This  means that there will be still another update made to the pattern while I’m in the throes of pattern redesign. I just never can tell if there is still more to come. Which there was.

Mittens & Fingerless Mitts to be photographed on my lovely nieces this coming weekend, so watch this space !

  1. A fun new option, the colors are delightful. We are having very warn weather and I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop! After all March is still to come!!

    1. Thank you Carol, mittens are my new learning curve. Oh, and yes, March that goes in like the lion and out like the lamb…. xx

  2. I think I like this color combination the best so far! And how lucky for you to have spring NOW!! Feet of snow on the ground here and looks like for a long time to come. But there are plenty of knits flying off my needles!

    1. Amy spring comes early in Northern California it’s true, but don’t forget that by the time June rolls around we are already worried about wildfire.

    1. Lucky you to have the best season linger… I am a winter person. I guess I knit for the love of knitting rather than the need. 😉
