Sweater Success !

I met my nieces at the Roastery in Calistoga this morning, then we hit the four corners …

It was a stellar success!

It has been a couple of months since the Autumnal Equinox …

I worried I’d never finish the Autumn sweaters,  having taken them almost-finished when the wildfire came, but recently I finally did finish them, and yesterday I gave them to my nieces.   Photos flew off perfectly  … even more artful than ever before !

Special thanks to Wendy , who kindly sent me some of her own buttons all the way from Canada, after having lost my button collection in the fire and could not find any locally for Miss Seventeen’s cardigan. xx

  1. You’re the trout’s pajamas…or somethin’ like that, but more tasty sounding. But seriously folks…great job.

    • Morrie, thank you. Funny thing about the colors, I thought purple just wouldn’t work, but my nieces just have a way of making everything look right. I’m so proud of them. xx

  2. Absolutely gorgeous sweaters and modelled expertly by your nieces. I loved seeing the previous photo shoots of your nieces in their sweaters.

  3. Yeah 🎉 here you are again! Against all odds, you celebrated your traditional sweater event ❤ so stunning and I love it! The pullovers, your nieces, the location and your perfect view catching them in the photos!

    • Thank you Petra, isn’t it just more fresh & artful each time? These girls amaze me…. literally! We found a ditch on the side of a sidewalk in a back alley to add to our ‘four corners’. xx

  4. Your nieces look so beautiful in their new sweaters! I love my cardigan and I have been thinking of making another. ( when I get my Christmas knitting finished!)

  5. Youve outdone yourself again, Jen. I especially loved scrolling through the years of Sweater Success’ to see not only how the girls have grown, but also the beautiful sweaters you have created for them. they are very lucky nieces to have you in their lives.

  6. Man, these girls are gorgeous. Lovely to see them again. Your FO’s rock, Jen. I love them. I wanted to start your cardigan pattern but my bulky yarn stash sucks and the brown is so boring. I’ll have to buy some new yarn when the husband isn’t looking.

I'd love to hear what you have to say...
